About Me

Hello! My name is David Quave, and I'm a filmmaker, writer, and composer from New Orleans, Louisiana. 

 

Ever since I can remember, I have had a passion for using various artistic mediums to create stories, worlds, and atmospheres that I could lose myself in. And it was this passion that drove me to start writing short stories at an early age.

 

But I quickly found that these text-born worlds and the characters dwelling within them were not silent. There was sound there, a music to accompany the words. 

 

So, I began to create sonic compositions that would reflect these stories and convey them in a way that words alone could not. And from those auditory explorations, I began to see scenes both written and unwritten playing out before me. I thought: "What if these scenes could leave the realm of mind and be made real?"
